Environmental Health Perspectives selects Editorial Manager and ProduXion Manager

Aries Systems is proud to announce that Environmental Health Perspectives (EHP) recently selected Editorial Manager to power the journal’s submission and peer review workflows. Similarly, Aries’ ProduXion Manager will underpin the journal’s production activities. The journal will be transitioning from a legacy system.

“We are delighted to add EHP to the list of journals deploying both EM and PM,” said Aries Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Richard Wynne. “We look forward to working together to ensure that EHP benefits from the rich functionality and configuration options uniquely available in our system.”

EHP is a monthly, peer-reviewed journal of research and news published with support from the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences, National Institutes of Health, and the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.

In 2014, EHP received approximately 1,600 submissions and had an acceptance rate of 12 percent. Research articles are published within three working days of acceptance as Advance Publication articles, and are citable using the Crossref Digital Object Identifier system. EHP’s news content is prepared by science journalists and reviewed by subject matter experts.

Published since 1972, EHP has been online-only since January 2013. EHP is open access, and all content is available for free online.
