We have several excellent growth opportunities available for creative mid-level Software Engineers  with between 3 and 5 years experience developing large-scale SaaS based web applications using Visual Studio, C#, ASP.NET, SQL Server, and JavaScript.

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Interface with other technical personnel or team members to finalize requirements.
  • Write and review portions of detailed specifications for the development of system components of varying complexity.
  • Work closely with team members to understand moderately complex product requirements and translate them into software designs.
  • Successfully implement development processes, coding best practices, and code reviews.
  • Operate in various development environments (Agile, Waterfall, etc.) while collaborating with key stakeholders.
  • Resolve technical issues as necessary.
  • Keep abreast of new technology developments.
  • Complete moderately complex bug fixes.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

Requirements:

  • Proficiency with SQL Server and relational database design, ASP.NET (as well as Classic ASP), C#, Web Forms, JavaScript, Ajax, JSON, CSS, XML, general OOP concepts & GIT/GITHub repositories and tools as well as Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Ability to write and review portions of detailed specifications for the development of system components of moderate complexity.
  • Understanding of data modeling principles and the ability to work with complex data models.
  • Ability to write and review portions of detailed specifications for the development of system components of moderate complexity.
  • Expert knowledge of the entire ASP.NET page lifecycle and experience in web based application development.
  • Experience with web services, data storage subsystems, test-driven development and source control systems.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, bug fixing and troubleshooting skills.
  • Logical self starter with a positive, can-do attitude and a desire to work with others to successfully tackle technical and business problems.
  • Above-average writing and communication skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in software engineering, computer science, business information systems, or mathematics.
