Recent OA report validates Aries’ integration of standardized workflow data with payment processing systems
A recently published UK report on Open Access recommends formation of an Efficiency Forum Subgroup, stating that, “There are changes needed to workflows and systems within and between research funders, institutions, publishers, and service providers.”
Aries has anticipated this requirement. Editorial Manager already offers an API that enables the interchange of funder information, ORCID iDs, normalized institutional names, and other manuscript data elements with payment processing systems.
