Did you know? Reviewer comments can be shared in Editorial Manager

Question-markIn EM, journals can optionally share reviewer identities, reviewer comments, and decision letters with other reviewers. This means that EM supports the most common “open” peer review workflows where reviewers are allowed to see each other’s comments. So as to avoid confirmation bias, journals typically only share reviewer comments at time of decision. Sharing of reviewer comments is a Role Manager permission, so please contact your Account Coordinator if you need assistance with this configuration option.

A look back at EMUG 2013

The 11th Annual U.S. Editorial Manager User Group Meeting, held in June in Cambridge, MA, was a smashing success! Thank you to all participants including Aries’ customers and speakers. Following are some attendee comments about aspects they found most helpful or enjoyable:

  • “New releases updates, wish lists, I also liked the social aspect of the meeting including dinner and information sharing with other users.”
  • “The Feature Workshop is always one of the most important aspects of the meeting. The overviews of the current versions and upcoming versions are also helpful for pointing out new ways to use features or for introducing new features altogether.”
