Question-markEnableInstitutionNameNormalization-screenshotJust go to PolicyManager and check off “Enable Institution Name Normalization” and click submit.

The benefit of using this functionality is that standardized institutional names (and Ringgold IDs) can be transferred to your journal’s production/hosting platform, thereby eliminating any ambiguity caused by the use of free text names.

Custom Merge Fields Provide Easy Way to Personalize Letters

CustomMergeFields-screenshotDrawing on customer feedback at prior User Group meetings, Aries has added the ability for journals to define their own custom merge fields (Version 11.1).

This feature helps journal staff manage standard signatures, legal disclaimers, terms & conditions, as well as marketing messages, in letter templates. Custom merge fields supports HTML for a truly custom look. Have fun with it, if your publication is celebrating a milestone; share it with words and images!
