Wiley, Aries, and Charlesworth Partner to Enhance Author Communications in China

Aries has partnered with Charlesworth Group and Wiley to facilitate manuscript status notifications from Editorial Manager to WeChat through an integration with the Charlesworth Gateway. This will result in more efficient workflows, increased transparency, cost savings, and an improved Author experience.

Tip: Promote Publisher Brand Identity at ORCID Workflow Points

The ORCID and Editorial Manager integration is applied at various workflow stages, including user registration, user login, Author attribution, Reviewer recognition, and more. By default, the Editorial Manager name is shown as the source of ORCID workflow triggers in the system. However, publishers/societies that are ORCID members can modify the default so their brand identity is displayed instead for further clarity with end users.

What to Watch: ORCID Reviewer Recognition

Acknowledging Reviewers for their peer review contributions is key to maintaining talent and improving scholarly research. To support this, Editorial Manager allows journals to honor their Reviewers by conveniently depositing review activity to a researcher’s ORCID record for public recognition of their efforts.
