Society of Thoracic Surgeons launches EM

2016-05-02_16-36-24The Society of Thoracic Surgeons (STS) has selected Aries Systems’ Editorial Manager to support submission and peer-review workflows for its journal, The Annals of Thoracic Surgery, which is transitioning from a previous system, and went live in April 2016.

Journal of the European Optical Society deployment launches on EM

shutterstock_161113514The Journal of the European Optical Society (published by Springer Open) recently launched their Editorial Manager deployment to power submission and peer review workflows.

This means the journal’s users will benefit from many standard EM features, such as Ringgold, ORCID, Open Funder Registry and iThenticate integration.

Chronos, Gates Foundation initiative, will use EM Ingest

Chronos logoResearch funded by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation will benefit from a streamlined publishing experience via Chronos, a tool the foundation is developing that will leverage EM Ingest technology.

Chronos will feature a searchable database of journals compliant with the foundation’s Open Access Policy. Chronos will connect grantee manuscripts to the journal’s submission system and coordinate open access fee payments with the publisher.
