Wiley VCH Successfully Transitions Titles to Editorial Manager

Wiley-vch-logoWiley VCH‘s Materials journals have been transitioning to Editorial Manager. While systems changes can be challenging, Managing Editor Eliza-Beth Lerch commented, “The team from Aries has been great at helping us make our transition to EM and PM- both for journals without a tracking system, and journals from other submission systems- as seamless as possible.”

“Together, Editorial Manager and ProduXion Manager allow us to effectively manage our peer review and production workflows from start to finish,” added Eliza-Beth.

Submission Simplified: Editorial Manager & ORCiD

OrcidSSOEM and ORCiD‘s collaboration now goes beyond allowing authors to leverage the benefits of unambiguous identification. With ORCiD SSO, using just one username- or ORCiD- and password, authors can submit and track status of submissions to all participating EM journals.

A diverse range of publishers have activated this time-saving submission feature with just one click. Contact your Account Coordinator to begin saving your authors time today.

AAAS’ Science Advances Open Access Editorial Manager Site Launch

As of September 2014, Science Advances, an Open Access journal published by the AAAS, uses Editorial Manager to streamline the peer review process.

“We have been able to get the submission and review engine of our new Open Access journal, Science Advances, up and running relatively easily with Editorial Manager,” commented Managing Editor Philippa Benson. “The staff at Aries has been very responsive to our requests for tailoring and training, as we learn exactly how we want our internal workflows configured. We’re grateful for the professionalism of the Aries staff and smooth workings of the Editorial Manager system.”

Authors may now submit directly to Science Advances using EM.
