slack_4cAries Systems and SLACK announced the adoption of Editorial Manager for use with SLACK’s jpn-covermany journals, including the Journal of Refractive Surgery, the Journal of Nursing Education, and the Journal of Psychosocial Nursing and Mental Health Services.

bioRxiv Preprint Server adopts EM Ingest Service to facilitate journal submission

Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory’s preprint server, bioRxiv, has become the latest organization to adopt Editorial Manager Ingest Service, biorxiv-logoallowing authors who publish pre-prints on bioRxiv to seamlessly submit to journals using EM with just one click. Read the full press release.

orcidIn 13.1, journals have the option of requiring ORCID iDs as part of article type selection. 

Plus, new users will have the ability to register for EM via ORCID. This means ORCID record data can be used to populate EM registration fields.
