AGENDA: CCC Town Meeting Event – Open Access: The Next Wave

October 15, 2015

Segment 1: Authors, Front and Center, 9:00 a.m.

A high-level discussion that looks at the shift underway in scholarly publishing to an author-centric world, of which OA is one part– albeit an important one– with Melinda Kenneway, co-founder, Kudos, a web-based service that helps researchers and their institutions and funders to maximize the visibility and impact of their published articles. This one-on-one “keynote” interview examines how the ongoing power shift is giving rise to new concerns for publishers as well as new value-added services that attract and retain the highest quality contributors.
