Thanks For A Successful EEMUG 2021 Webinar Series!

Due to current circumstances, Aries Systems shifted our annual European Editorial Manager User Group (EEMUG) meeting held in London, to a virtual five-part series webinar series designed to deliver the same great insights from our in-person events. The series featured a diverse set of topics with multiple guest speakers and was offered to Editorial Manager/ProduXion Manager customers at no cost. Session topics included:

  • Advanced EAR Reporting
  • Supporting Mentorship in Peer Review
  • LiXuid Manuscript: Streamlining the Production Workflow
  • Panel Discussion: Manuscript Evaluation Services
  • User Experience Update: EM Interface Enhancements

Members of Aries Client Services and Product Management team were joined by a few of our partners who participated in panel discussions on some of the aforementioned topics. Aries thanks the following panelists for their participation in Supporting Mentorship in Peer Review and Panel Discussion: Manuscript Evaluation Services:

  • Megan M. McCarty, Editorial Client Manager & System Support Expert, J&J Editorial
  • Tasha Wilhlemsen, Editorial Client Manager & System Support Expert, J&J Editorial
  • Michael Upshall, Head of Sales and Business Development, UNSILO
  • Anita Bandrowski, Founder and CEO, SciScore
  • Martijn Roelandse, Lead of Business Development, SciScore
  • Josh Nicholson, Co-Founder and CEO, scite

The EEMUG 2021 webinar series generated nearly six times our standard reach, with 417 unique registrants across the five sessions, in comparison to the ~70 average registrations for our traditional in-person European user group meetings each winter. Aries is thrilled to have had the opportunity to engage with our user community through this series, and we continue to uphold our commitment to stay connected with our EM/PM users under the current climate. Thank you to Aries staff, external speakers, and attendees who have made this series a great success!

Recordings of each session in the EEMUG 2021 webinar series are available in the Aries webinar catalog.

We hope you will consider joining us for upcoming EMUG 2021 events, which will be held in a virtual format this summer. Stay tuned for more details!
