Join us for the 2018 User Group Meeting in Boston!

A “must attend” event for executives and staff who have strategic responsibility for peer review and production workflow

Just a few years ago, peer review workflow was considered a sleepy backwater. Now publishers and scholarly societies realize that peer review is of critical strategic importance to their survival and growth. For this reason, EMUG—the Editorial Manager User Group Meeting—has become a “must attend” event for executives and staff who have strategic responsibility for peer review and production workflow.

At EMUG, we discuss big picture issues such as reviewer recognition, identity management, GDPR, and user experience, but also connect these themes to practical solutions available today.

The meeting will take place at the Taj Boston Hotel in Boston, MA on June 21 and 22, 2018. Aries Systems’ U.S. and European User Group Meetings provide opportunities to learn about the latest workflow software innovations and provide feedback in regard to development. Attendees also benefit from case studies presented by customers and talks on publishing industry advances and changes, plus the opportunity to network with colleagues over cocktails on Thursday evening.

EMUG 2018 will include sessions dedicated to decision support tools, the Author experience and best practices (including Xtract), early decision workflow, Enterprise Analytics Reporting use cases, and more. In addition, attendees will participate in Feature Workshop—an interactive discussion to brainstorm ideas for enhancing the Author, Reviewer, and Editor experiences. Intensive sessions (EM Bootcamp and ProduXion Manager User Group) will also be available. Review the agenda for additional details.
