Preventing Manuscript Redundancy with Duplicate Submission Check

Journal offices often experience confusing and frustrating delays due to Authors intentionally or accidentally resubmitting the same manuscript to the journal after it has previously been rejected. To help address this issue, Editorial Manager comes equipped with an automated Duplicate Submission Check tool, which produces reports to list potential matches and similarity scores.

What to Watch: Custom Editor Form Questionnaires

Editorial Manager version 16.1 includes a new feature that allows custom questions to be added to the Editor Form. This allows publications to collect specific information from Editors during the editorial decision process and at all stages of revision within the system rather than using external communication methods, saving valuable time. Watch the video for a glimpse into this flexible workflow.
