EMUG 2020 Webinar Series: That’s A Wrap!

With the cancellation of the 18th annual Editorial Manager User Group Meeting (EMUG 2020) due to the coronavirus pandemic, Aries Systems transitioned the program into a knowledge-packed webinar series. Although we missed seeing everyone in-person, we are thrilled to have had the opportunity to engage with our user community in a virtual environment

The five-part series featured a diverse set of topics. Each session covered topics such as popular features, configurability options, and reporting tips to optimize journals’ EM/PM sites and enhance the Author, Editor and Reviewer workflows. Conducted on a weekly basis over a six week period, various members of the Aries Client Services and Product Management teams presented the following sessions:

  • Increased Convenience for Editors
  • Introduction to Enterprise Analytics Reporting (EAR)
  • Boosting Reviewer Engagement
  • The Power of Identifiers
  • Gradual Engagement

Aries is pleased to have been able to connect with such a large audience of EM/PM users through this virtual setting. The EMUG 2020 webinar series nearly tripled our standard reach, with 390 unique registrants across the five sessions, in comparison to the ~130 average attendance for our US conferences each summer. We thank our dedicated Aries staff and user community for making this series a success!
